THE LARGE-SCALE CULTIVATION OF UNICELLULAR GREEN ALGAE AND THE NUTRITIVE VALUE OF POWERED ALGAE.

Abstract

Results indicate that powdered unicellular algae that tolerate large-scale cultivation can be successfully utilized as a source of protein for increasing the nutritive value of food. The results obtained with powdered algae are encouraging in terms of eliminating nutritional protein deficiencies and preventing lesions of the liver.
