STUDY OF AIRCRAFT PROCUREMENT CONTRACT TYPES AND CONTRACTING METHODS. APPENDIX.

Abstract

This information was used to determine significant contracting problems, the current basis for selection of specific contract types, the degree and effectiveness of BuAer administrative controls, and other factors affecting the contracting relationships between the Navy and industry. The results have been summarized in the appendixes. Data in the appendixes are compiled from a large amount of detailed information gathered during the course of the case studies. To the extent permitted by professional ethics and the need to respect the confidence entrusted in the study contractor by cooperating contractors, these background data have been turned over to BuAer for its further study and use.
