EXPERIMENTS ON ATMOSPHERIC EXPLOSIONS UNDER CONTROLLED CONDITIONS.

Abstract

One of the main problems involved in the second part of the research work outlined in 'Proposal for Experiments on Underwater and Atmospheric Explosions under Controlled Conditions' is the scale relationship between the effects of explosive forced on conventional structures and pseudo-structures composed of simple assemblies of surface and structural parts which would be representative of conventional structures. The purpose of this preliminary report is to present and to discuss some basic consideration on the approach to the solution of this problem. (Author)
