Continuous-Tone Electrostatic Electrophotography.

Abstract

For the purposes of description and study, the electrophotographic process may be divided conveniently into six parts: (1) the electrophotographic plate, (2) sensitization of the plate, (3) exposure of the sensitized plate, (4) development of the exposed plate to produce a powder image, (5) transfer of this image from the plate to a final support, and (6) fixing the transferred image to make the final print.
