A Flotation Method for the Treatment and Clarification of Tallow Soap Based Laundry Waste Water.

Abstract

The method of clarification is based on the formation of aluminum hydroxide floc which, on coagulating, entraps the waste material in the water. The floc is subsequently separated from the main body of water by a flotation process and is finally removed by a mechanical sludge skimmer.
