Status of the Program to Explore the Use of Boron in Military Explosives,

Abstract

Several types of NBX, containing up to 15% boron, have been fired, some in air with blast recording, some underwater with shockwave recording and with diaphragm gauges, and some with detonation velocity recording. The predicted high power of these compositions has not been experimentally observed. (Author)
