Synthesis of Energetic Oxidizers.
Abstract
The study of the chemistry of the NF4(+) cation was continued in efforts to synthesize the hypothetical salts NF4ClF4, NF4BrF4, NF4BrF6, NF4ClF2, (NF4)2SiF6, (NF4)2CN2, and (NF4)2BeF4. The method of synthesis involved metathesis reactions in HF and interhalogen solvents.
