The battalion was engaged in combat operations during the period 1 February to 30 April 1969, supporting the 1st Inf Div, the 25th Inf Div, IIFFORCEV, the 1st Cav Div (Airmobile), and the 3rd Mobile Strike Force Command, Co A, 5th SFGA.
