Resource Allocations in Support of the RVN Army, Regional Forces, and Popular Forces: FY68

Abstract

Resource allocations in support of the RVN Army, Regional Forces, and Popular Forces in the RVN for FY68 are identified. The study traces the flow and interrelation of the resources made available from sources to end use in support of the forces studied. The cost of each force is estimated by examining the resource implications of activities such as deployment provision of materiel, operations, maintenance, training, construction, and pay and allowances. A comparison is made of the time-phased costs of each force by source and activity and significant high-cost items. Data on RVN land-combat forces for the period FY67-FY68 are included.
