Lessons Learned, (Headquarters, Company H (RANGER), 75th Infantry

Abstract

During the reporting period, Company H (RANGER) continued to provide long range reconnaissance and surveillance for the 1st Cavalry Division (AM). Ranger patrols continued to be deployed according to current enemy activity with emphasis being placed on the recovery of documents and positive identification of enemy routes of movement. During this reporting period, Company H (RANGER) employed 95 patrols, of which 47 made sightings of enemy personnel, resulting in 20 engagements.
