Lessons Learned, Headquarters, 4th Infantry Division

Abstract

During the period covered by this report, the 4th Infantry Division continued its participation in Operation DAN quyen-Hines. The 4th Infantry Division conducted operations to support GVN pacification programs; to locate, pursue and destroy VC/NVA elements attempting to disrupt pacification; to interdict enemy infiltration corridors; to upgrade security of populated areas and territorial forces through combined operations; to secure the major LOC within its AO; and turn over the security of Highway 19 west of the Mang Giang Pass to ARVN.
