Lessons Learned, Headquarters, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile)

Abstract

The successful interdiction of energy supply routes, location and destruction of enemy caches, successful operations directed towards influencing enemy and enemy impressed laborers to rally, and the smooth disengagement associated with redeployment were the most significant aspects of 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) operations during the period 1 November 1970 to 30 April 1971.
