NORLANT 72 Phase 3 Scientific Plan

Abstract

This document describes the scientific aspects of the joint U. S. Canadian propagation-loss, signal-to-noise, and ocean-chemistry experiments that comprise Phase 3 of NORLANT 72. Experiment descriptions, dat processing and reporting plans, levels of effort, and principal personnel are delineated for the studies to be conducted August-September 1972 in the Labrador Basin and Davis Strait.
