Abstract

This debriefing report is based on personal impressions and observations while serving as the Commanding Officer, 7th Psychological Operations Group, on Okinawa, during the period from 30 November 1968 to 16 May 1972. The experiences described in this report are confined primarily to psychological operations (PSYOP) activities within the Pacific Command (PACOM). The focus of the report is on major substantive issues that may warrant future study or may influence future doctrine, training, and materiel.
