HASP, INSTRUMENTED, STATUS REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION FOR TERMINATION OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE HEAD, 1.625-INCH ROCKET MK 2 MOD 2,

Abstract

The report contains, with the exception of drawings and specifications, the supporting technical documentation which substantiated the status report and recommendation for termination of development of the instrumented High Altitude Sounding Projectile (HASP) for determining atmospheric pressure, temperature and wind velocity up to 150,000-foot altitude. The Mk 32 Mod 0 rocket motor, developed by the Bureau of Naval Weapons (RMMP), was the propulsion unit. Launching was from the LOKI tube launcher. (Author)
