THE APPROXIMATE CALCULATION OF THE LAMINAR BOUNDARY LAYER IN AN INCOMPRESSIBLE FLUID WITH HEAT TRANSFER AND MASS TRANSFER.

Abstract

A method is proposed for an approximate calculation of the laminar boundary layer in an incompressible fluid in which heat transfer and mass transfer are going on together. Formulas are derived which, for moderate velocities, concentrations, and temperature jumps, link the local coefficient of heat transfer and the wall temperature with the transverse flow of a substance.
