INFRARED COATING STUDIES.

Abstract

The report deals with the experimentally determined refractive indices of films of lead chloride and zinc telluride, and with the reflectance enhancement of the reststrahlen of films and crystals of lithium fluoride by means of single layers of zinc telluride. After a section on miscellaneous experimental observations of the adherence of certain infrared films and substrates, the report concludes with a short summary of the year's work.
