RF DESENSITIZED SWITCH,

Abstract

The RF desensitized switch is a pnpn switch especially designed to be insensitive to radio-frequency energy. This insensitivity results from an abnormally large gate RC time constant and from the use of a zener diode to apply a desensitizing bias in the presence of rf energy. The device is diffused into a silicon chip which may then be mounted in a number of different packages for a wide range of sizes and power capabilities. (Author)
