MEASURING THE UTILIZATION OF A FEDERAL SHORT TERM GENERAL HOSPITAL.

Abstract

It is shown that there is no significant difference in admission rate experienced by individuals of different income levels among a selected group of persons served by a Federal military medical facility. It has also been demonstrated that the data upon which this evidence is based was drawn from a homogeneous sample group and that an efficient random sampling technique was employed in obtaining this data. The effects of such factors as the level of education of the head of the family unit and accessibility of the medical facility do not diminish the acceptability of the null hypothesis. (Author)
