THE EQUATIONS OF MOTION IN A MULTICOMPONENT CHEMICALLY REACTING GAS

Abstract

The general equations of motion for a multicomponent chemically reacting flow system are introduced. The concept of influscid flow is presented and the fundamental boundary layer equations appropriate for the analysis of the interaction between a flowing multicomponent chemically reacting pgas and a surface are formulated for a typical coordinate system.
