RESEARCH AND INVESTIGATION ON THE TRANSMISSION LINE ANALOG OF SOME FUNCTIONS OF THE COCHLEA,

Abstract

The feasibility of design of a Tune Learning Machine, capable of demonstrating learning of given time sequences of tones by an automaton, is investigated. A complete unit possessing sources of internally generated tones, sensors of external tunes, controls of the internally generated tones, memory, etc is described. A Fourier Analyzer consisting of an advanced version of a previously designed 'Cochlea Analog Model' is also presented. (Author)
