FREQUENCY TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION TECHNIQUES FOR QUARTZ CRYSTAL OSCILLATORS.

Abstract

Stray capacitance effects on TCXO design characteristics are discussed. The relationship of TCXO parameters and the effect of various parameters on the temperature compensation characteristics are discussed and related information supplied in graphical form. Thermistor-resistor network synthesis techniques are explained and examples are shown to illustrate the techniques. The Group I experimental TCXO's are described and the effect of heat sink materials are shown. (Author)
