Abstract

TheThe investigation of all known approaches, to determine the optimum methods of converting low voltage d-c power to higher voltage more usable d-c or a-c power for operating military electronic equipment was undertaken. Specifically the most feasible methods of converting the low output voltages of thermoelectric, thermionic, solar cells, fuel cells or other source voltages in the range of 0.1 volt to 1.5 volts will be determined.
