Abstract

The towing basins used by the High Speed Phenomena Division, David Taylor Model Basin at Langley Field, Virginia, are described. Information on physical characteristics of the basins, towing carriages, towing gear, model-handling equipment, instruments, and power supply is presented. A list of reports describing some of the past work in these facilities is included. (Author)
