POST-TRAINING PERFORMANCE CRITERION DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION. THE DEVELOPMENT OF UNIDIMENSIONAL SCALES FOR THE DIMENSIONS DERIVED FROM A MULTIDIMENSIONAL SCALE ANALYSIS OF THE JOB OF THE NAVAL AVIATION ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

Abstract

Unidimensional scales were constructed on each of four dimensions which had previously been extracted in a multidimensional scaling analysis of the Naval aviation electronics technician's job at the entry level. For each dimension, a set of tasks was found which formed a scale as defined by both the Thurstone method of equal appearing intervals and the Guttman technique.
