MASS FLOW THROUGH A CIRCULAR ORIFICE AND A TWODIMENSIONAL SLIT AT HIGH KNUDSE $UMBERS.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of numerical calculations of the total mass flow through both a circular orifice and a twodimensional slit. The calculations are restricted to one iteration in the integral iteration scheme and the effect of molecules which, due to collision, return through the orifice is neglected. No further simplifying assumptions, such as those used by Narasimha, are employed. (Author)
