OPTIMAL SINGULAR SOLUTION FOR LINEAR, MULTIINPUT SYSTEMS.

Abstract

The optimal singular control for a useful class of systems was obtained. Linear, stationary systems with multiple inputs when subject to performance indices quadratic in the state variables, but explicitly independent of the control variables may be optimally governed by singular control. The means of obtaining the singular behavior and control of derived and an explicit formula for the singular control is provided. (Author)
