Product Engineering. Volume 4

Abstract

Presented is a summary of Task II: Heat Transfer Studies. Objectives of Task II were to study the phase properties of 50-50 fuel in the critical temperature region to determine the cause of tube burnout experienced during the 1962 program and the heat transfer capability of N2O4 at supercritical pressures to compare it to 50-50 fuel and to determine any enhancement caused by endothermic dissociation.
