Abstract
The temperature of the quartz plate and of the points at which it is bonded to the mounting supports, while it is being sealed in the miniature HC-26/U glass enclosure, are discussed together with the behavior of Pyroceram cement when cured at a high temperature before being subjected to the temperature of the sealing operation.
