CARDIOVASCULAR ASSESSMENT KIT.

Abstract

The analysis of cardiovascular performance in man by the measurement of the precordial radioisotopes dilution technique and a standard dye dilution technique were compared. The procedures for both techniques were done on dogs and then tested on six human subjects. The techniques, equipment used, and the methods of cumputing the results are described. A reasonable degree of correlation between the two methods was obtained. The difficulties and the cause of possible errors in results are discussed.
