AN APPARATUS FOR SOLDERING GAS TURBINE BLADES.

Abstract

The apparatus for soldering gas turbine blades with cooling channels formed between the blade body and a thin-walled shell and with the use of heat-resistant solders in a reductive gas medium or a vacuum differs in that, to uniformly compress the shell to the blade body in the process of soldering, the blade is placed in a container with a pocket formed by thin walls which are adjacent to the blade surface and compressed by excess pressure outside the pocket or a vacuum within it.
