ULTRA HIGH POWER TRANSMISSION LINE TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

The purpose of the investigation is to develop systematic procedures for selecting optimum waveguide configurations and designing waveguide components that will operate at high levels of peak and average power in the frequency range 1-10 gigacycles (See AD-431 183). The report presents a theoretical discussion of tapers and spurious mode absorbers for an oversized waveguide. (Author)
