THE USEFULNESS OF AEROSPACE MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES IN OTHER SECTORS OF THE ECONOMY.

Abstract

The managerial techniques used in the aerospace industries have been shaped by the unique conditions surrounding the industry. The demands of their most important customer, the government, the frequent combination of large state-ofthe-art advances with great development urgency, and the large size of many projects have combined to shape management techniques and systems. It is suggested that these techniques cannot be translated or transferred into other industries without extensive modifications. (Author)
