A PERFORMANCE MEASURE FOR GAME-PLAYING PROGRAMS,
Abstract
A performance measuring procedure for a class of games is described. An example of the use of the procedure is given, with results. Further work to be done with the heuristic program at hand as well as with a new heuristic program is proposed. Lastly, another use of the safe-unsafe theorem, as a valuable aid to understanding heuristic programs, is suggested. (Author)
