ON THE DOMINANT POLES OF THE DISTRIBUTED RC NETWORKS.

Abstract

A method is developed for determining the rise time, time delay, bandwidth, and phase shift of the voltage and current transfer functions of exponentially tapered distributed RC networks. An approximation technique is described which permits the location of the dominant poles of these distributed networks by means of a simple algebraic formula. The domi nant poles are then used to determine the electrical characteristics of the network. (Author)
