INVESTIGATION OF SOME ELECTRONIC AND MECHANICAL INTERFACE PROBLEMS IN THE AN/TSQ-47 SYSTEM

Abstract

This report discusses certain electronic and mechanical interfaces associated with system integration and ground support of the AN/TSQ-47 air traffic control system. Problem areas are defined and suggestions are set forth for improvement and standardization. Discussions and recommendations for meteorological equipment and a mobile runway lighting system are included.
