EXCITATION AND DETECTION TECHNIQUES FOR MILLIMETER WAVE TRANSITIONS.

Abstract

Electric resonance experiments were performed on hydrogen sulfide at 168.7 gc and 216.4 gc. In addition, low frequency resonances were observed between Stark components of rotational states. A description is given of line width measurements which are being performed in a molecular beam absorption cell. Brief descriptions are given of related instrumentation and millimeter wave investigation. (Author)
