TELECONFERENCING: CAPACITY OF CURRENT COMMUNICATION FACILITIES.

Abstract

The discussion is the result of a cursory investigation into facilities available for teleconferencing between stations situated in any or all NATO capitals. It has a two-fold purpose: (1) to apprise investigators concerned with other as pects of the teleconferencing problem of the available communication facilities; and (2) to guide more comprehensive investigations into the characteristics of available or proposed communication facilities. The discussion is directed toward the reader who is not familiar with communication theory and practices. (Author)
