STUDY OF PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF BALLOONS AND BALLOON MATERIALS.

Abstract

A study was made to improve the performance of meteorological balloons by the use of newly developed neoprene polymers specifically designed for such a purpose, by the use of other basic polymeric materials, by improved compounding and processing, and by a better understanding of atmospheric conditions during flight.
