IMPROVEMENT OF WIRE TEST METHODS.

Abstract

An engineering investigation, survey, and test program on aircraft interconnecting wire was conducted to determine realistic and definitive quality control procedures. Specifically, the following acceptance tests were investigated: abrasion, flammability, tank dielectric, high temperature endurance, wicking, and bondability and sealing. Each of these tests was reviewed with the goal of developing an optimum test procedure.
