INVESTIGATION OF THE INFRARED EMISSION SPECTRUM OF THE ATMOSPHERE AND EARTH.

Abstract

A detailed theory and estimation of errors of an optical method to determine the total water vapor content of the atmosphere with an interference-filter actinograph is presented. A radiometer-instrumentation to determine the haze by infrared radiation measurements in the 2-3.5 micrometer-region from a helicopter is described.
