PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF OBSERVATIONS OF MARS.
Abstract
The observation period covered nearly 5 months in 1956. The atmosphere and surface of Mars were studied intensively with various astronomical instruments. On 3 to 4 December 1956, a conference was held, at which the participants in the observations reported on their investigations and discussed a number of questions connected with processing the results.
