METHOD OF OBTAINING HIGH AND SUPERHIGH PRESSURES,

Abstract

The distinguishing peculiarity of the method described consists in the accomplishing of electrical discharges or heat explosions of heat conducting elements in a medium of gas or vapor with the compression of the plasma of the discharge or the accomplishing of it in a narrow channel or accumulating chamber. The use of this method makes it possible to apply lighter electrohydraulic impacts to the material being processed. High pressure of a gaseous medium can be used for different mechanical, physical, or chemical treatment of materials, and also for the displacement of objects and other actions.
