ENERGY SPECTRA OF IONS SCATTERED BY POLYCRYSTALLINE SURFACES OVER SMALL ANGLES,

Abstract

A study was made of the dependency of energy spectra on scattering angle for the case of 25-Kev argon ions scattered by copper and graphite targets. The results confirm the essential role of multiple scattering even for angles of incidence close to the glancing angle.
