ELECTROLYTIC PRECIPITATION OF ANTIMONOUS INDIUM,

Abstract

The possibility of the formation of a semiconductive combination of InSb on a cathode from aqueous sulphate solutions was investigated. Cathode deposits were found to present a mixture of three crystalline phases: that of antimony, indium, and indium antimonide. Subsequent heating resulted in an increase of the indium antimonide phase content at the expense of the antimony and indium phases. (Author)
