STABILIZATION OF 'UNIVERSAL' UNSTABILITY OF A WEAKLY INHOMOGENEOUS PLASMA WITH RELATIVISTIC ELECTRONS IN A MAGNETIC FIELD,

Abstract

Consideration is given to a plasma with non-relativistic ions and relativistic electrons. The electronic larmor radius compares with the ionic one and calculation of its finiteness, leads to stabilization of the plasma relative to 'universal' instability. (Author)
