A LOW-NOISE, MULTIPLE-FUNCTION, X-BAND TRAVELING-WAVE TUBE.

Abstract

The report describes the work done to develop a low-noise, multiple-function, X-band traveling-wave tube. Preliminary revised-design tubes were fabricated and evaluated. This effort resulted in a number of minor design changes which will cause substantial improvements in the performance of the final-design tubes now under fabrication. (Author)
