MOLECULAR PARAMETERS AND BOND STRUCTURE. PART 2. CARBON-HYDROGEN BONDS IN CH3X AND CH2XY MOLECULES.

Abstract

Carbon-hydrogen bond-stretching vibrations do not interact appreciable with other modes. Hence their frequencies give information on bond structure. It is shown, theoretically, that there appear to be an infinite number of possible electronic structures for a bond of definite strength. (Author)
