FLOTATION CAPABILITY OF PLASTIC AMMUNITION CONTAINERS,

Abstract

This report describes the method used and the results obtained in determining the ability of empty plastic ammunition containers of various sizes to float a man and/ or equipment. Rafts fabricated from these containers were also tested to determine their suitability as flotation devices. (Author)
