BOROSILICATE GLASSES, DATA SHEETS,

Abstract

A compilation of the electrical properties of various borosilicate glasses is presented. Arrangement of the data sheets are by Corning code or number with a Master Identification Chart relating the known chemical composition of each glass. Detailed electrical properties include corona effects, dielectric constant, dielectric strength, dissipation factor, loss factor, power factor, surface and volume resistivity. Each property is compiled over the widest possible range of temperature and frequencies from references obtained in a thorough literature search. The structure, applications and phase diagrams are briefly reviewed. (Author)
